DIFERENTIAL/FRICTION SHAFT
DIFFERNTIAL BALL-LOCK SHAFT - DIFFERENTIAL SHAFTS HELP CONTROL TENSION WHILE REWINDING MULTIPLE ROLLS.
PRODUCT INFO
Fortune Roto Control Pvt. Ltd. manufactures Differential Friction Shafts for slitter rewinder machines. Also called friction shafts or differential winding shafts, they help rewind multiple rolls on one shaft while managing tension for each roll.
During slitting, rolls can have different thicknesses and winding requirements. The friction rings on a differential shaft allow each roll to wind with suitable resistance. This helps reduce loose or uneven rolls and supports smooth rewinding.
The shaft has a ground steel carrier with friction rings that hold the roll cores and transfer torque. It can be supplied with a hard chromium-plated carrier and single-row or double-row ball arrangements. For high-speed machines, a dynamically balanced shaft is available. Friction rings can be made from hard black anodized aluminium or steel.
Fortune Roto Control designs Differential Friction Shafts for paper, plastic film, aluminium foil, laminates, labels and other converting materials. Custom sizes and configurations are available to suit your machine, core diameter and roll width.
